Overview: The Wayne Institute is a dynamic, 5 day sleep-away summer camp that prepares rising 9th and 10th graders for success in high school and the college admissions process. Our 10:1 student to mentor ratio means your student will always have the attention of their mentor to ensure they are making constant gains in developing their Roadmap to Success. Our mentors, many of whom are Ivy League students and all of whom are students at the very best schools in the nation, represent our core idea:

Who better to help your student succeed in high school than someone who just did?

Before the first college essay is written, standardized test taken, and application completed, students must be building a portfolio that sets them apart. At the Wayne Institute, we do just that. Click here to learn how.

Location: Our week-long summer camp program will be hosted on the beautiful campus of Palm Beach Atlantic (PBA) University, located on the Intracoastal Waterway of downtown West Palm Beach. Students will stay in modern residence halls and learn in classrooms located on site. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (included in tuition) will take place in PBA’s own Fraser Dining Hall.

Camp Safety: Safety and security are of the utmost importance to the Wayne Institute. Residence halls will have triple-lock systems: only students and authorized staff will have building, elevator, and room access. State-certified PBA safety and security officers and Level 2 Florida Department of Law Enforcement Background-Checked camp staffers (both current top-tier college students and experienced educators) are available at all hours for student needs.

Travel and Arrival Options: The Wayne Institute’s convenient location in downtown West Palm Beach allows for multiple options for travel.

  1. Fly into Palm Beach International Airport, where your student will be met and escorted by a camp counselor to the PBA campus.

  2. Take the Brightline to the West Palm Beach station, where your student will be met and escorted by a camp counselor to the PBA campus.
